With a master’s degree in public relations from UC Berkley, in 1993 Anje
Collins began her career in the public relations department at Arista Records in New York City. Working with artists such as Pink, Outkast, Usher and Linkin Park, her responsibilities included being a liaison between the sales and research teams, working with syndicated research and assisting with tour based public relations and events at the VMA’s, Grammy’s, Billboard and The American Music Awards.

In 1999, Ms. Collins then accepted a position as the urban music director at the world renowned nightclub S.O.B.’s in Manhattan specializing in live entertainment. In this position, Anje worked with a multitude of musical genres from hip-hop to neo-soul, jazz to Latin fusion. Working with such artists as U2, Mary J. Blige, Wyclef Jean, Macy Gray, Jill Scout, Café Tacuba, Alejandro Fernandez, the late Tito Puentes and a slew of today’s artists.

In 2002, she then made the jump into the fashion arena working at the hip fashion agency Company Agenda, specializing in fashion and art public relations. She worked on a massive amount of fashion shows, parties and client events. In this position she represented some of the industry’s brightest talent, working with top editors, designers, and stylists for editorial coverage.
The client roster at Company Agenda included: Betsey Johnson, Steve Madden, Sean Jean, Urban Chic, Absolut, Ciroc and more.

In 2004, Ms. Collins served as the Executive Director of Special Projects at
Trice Magazine in New York City. Where she produced some of the most highly publicized events in the magazine’s history. From fashion week parties in New York, Paris and Milan to new product launches in Miami, Dallas and Los Angeles. She also produced over 250 events and marketing programs for clients including Belvedere, Ciroc, French Connection, Rock and Republic, Ed Hardy, Prada, Moet & Chandon, Stoli, Louis Vutton, Tiffany and Company and more.



In 2006, Ms. Collins was the Director of Special Events for a Miami Based firm. Her duties included managing accounts in the luxury, fashion, consumer and lifestyle practices, planning, coordinating and garnering sponsorships for all special events, generating weekly publicity for all events and special projects through press releases and relationships with the media and the production of all promotional material.


Today, Anje Collins serves as the Executive Agency Director of her own firm The Luxe PR Group, The Art of Luxury and now the newest division The Luxe Style Lab. Managing accounts in the luxury, fashion, music, sports, hospitality, consumer and lifestyle practices. With over 25 years’ experience in the media relations and event production industry, Ms. Collins is well versed in developing and executing broad reaching public relations campaigns in a variety of industries, including fashion, multimedia, sports and entertainment, hospitality and luxury consumer goods, among others.

She has also co-founded the organization Women In PR, a movement that host’s events, seminars, workshops and conferences for women in the public relations industry.

Anje’s proven track record of placing her clients in the top tier media outlets coupled with creating feature and business stories, fostering real relationships between her clients and the media showcases her diverse talents and lays the foundation for her continued success.
