Monica Coleman has over ten years of integrated marketing communications experience within the entertainment, consumer products and non-profit sectors. Prior to taking the dive into business ownership, she worked for The National Basketball Association, The Apollo Theatre, ESPN, MTV, The City of Atlanta and General Motors. She is currently the owner of two successful companies – Creative Connections Mobile Barbershop, which was featured in Black Enterprise Magazine, the AJC and several other publications after winning $35,000 in a national business plan competition, and M320 Consulting. Monica established M320 Consulting in 2006 as a full-service marketing communications firm that offers strategic marketing counsel, compelling public relations planning and other resources for small businesses. She has since been named one of Rolling Out Magazine’s Top 25 Women in Atlanta in 2007, one of Atlanta’s Power 30 Under 30 in 2010, a finalist for the Success Against The Odds Award by The Atlanta Business League in 2010 and the winner of The Rising Star Award by the Morehouse College Entrepreneurship Center in 2011.

Under Ms. Coleman’s leadership, M320 Consulting has executed fully-integrated marketing programs and media events, in addition to assisting with program development, incorporating celebrities into communications campaigns and building partnerships with community organizations. Some of her clients have included major corporations like Magic Johnson’s Burger King Restaurants, The Home Depot, The City of Atlanta’s Office of Recreation, Porsche, Converse and Crown Royal, non-profit organizations like The 100 Black Men of Atlanta/Bank of American Atlanta Football Classic, and Sporty Girls, Inc, ESPN correspondent Rashan Ali, and marketing agencies like GLUE, Divine Marketing Agency, Press Reset Entertainment & Liquid Soul Media. In recent years, her efforts have led to over 100 million media impressions and features on Good Morning America, The Weather Channel, Sports Illustrated, Essence Magazine and more for her clients. She also remains on the cutting edge of practices within the communications industry and has been featured on panels hosted by The Atlanta Business League, Rolling Out Magazine, The Gouizeta Business School at Emory University and Deloitte.

A native of New York City, Ms. Coleman is a graduate of Hampton University, where she was a Presidential Scholar and the recipient of the President’s Cup for her graduating class. She is currently an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and volunteers with Youth Entrepreneurs of Atlanta, on the Board of Directors for Sporty Girls, Inc. and recently founded a program called MWorks, which provides free resume building and referrals for the jobless.
